The North Oldham Mustangs softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Portland Christian Eagles to 2 in the Mustangs non-league win on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Hills for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. North Oldham will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 19-8 non-league win over Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Portland Christian moves to 0-2 on the season. The Eagles host Fern Creek (Louisville, KY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
