The Lacey Township Lions trounced the visiting Toms River South Indians lacrosse squad by a score of 15-9 in Wednesday's league contest.
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Cougars enter the Shore A - South contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Colts Neck was overwhelmed by Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 12-7, in a league contest.
Next, the Indians meet the Jackson Memorial Jaguars (Jackson Township, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 10. Toms River South will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ).
