In Wednesday's league contest, the host Marlboro Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a good 17-2 win over the Long Branch Green Wave.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Central Regional beat Brick Township (Brick, NJ), 9-1, in a non-league battle.

The Green Wave now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neptune for a Shore A - North battle on Saturday, April 12. Long Branch will encounter a Scarlet Fliers team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over St. Rose (Belmar, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers record now stands at 2-2.
