Ohio High School Lacrosse - Orange nips Mentor

April 9, 2025: Mentor, OH 44060

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Orange Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Mentor Cardinals.

The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hawken (Gates Mills, OH). The Hawks go into the Region 6 contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Hawken was nipped by Wooster (Wooster, OH), 17-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) in a Region 2 contest, on Saturday, April 12. Mentor will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Lake (Uniontown, OH).
