Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) and the host West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), witnessed Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's lacrosse squad hold off West Geauga by a count of 7-6.
The Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Fighting Irish enter the Region 6 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, St. Vincent-St. Mary nipped Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), 8-7, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wolverines meet the South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 10. West Geauga will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 21-1 league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH).
