Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) and the host Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles (Hilton Head Island, SC), saw Porter-Gaud's soccer squad hold off Hilton Head Christian Academy by a score of 1-0.
The Cyclones (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Chargers enter the SCISA AAAA Region II battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Northwood Academy was edged by First Baptist School (Charleston, SC), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region II battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Hilton Head Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record.
