Louisiana High School Softball - Assumption bounces Central Lafourche

The Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) softball routed the visiting Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA), 12-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkview Baptist for a non-league outing on Friday, April 11. Assumption will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 18-11.

With the loss, Central Lafourche moves to 19-7 on the season. The Trojans host South Lafourche (Galliano, LA) to encounter the Tarpons in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 10. The Tarpons come into the outing with a record of 3-22. South Lafourche lost 19-2 in their recent non-league outing against Houma Christian (Houma, LA)
