The Bastrop Rams triumphed over the visiting Richwood Rams softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Forest Bulldogs (Forest, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Bastrop will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Simsboro (Simsboro, LA).

The Rams (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers enter the 3A District 1 challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Sterlington edged Neville (Monroe, LA), 11-1, in a non-league challenge.
