The Zachary Broncos softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Catholic - N.I. Panthers to 14 in the Broncos non-league win on Wednesday.
The Broncos now possess a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mandeville for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. Zachary will confront a Skippers team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA). The Skippers record now stands at 16-7.
With the loss, Catholic - N.I. moves to 8-11 on the season. The Panthers travel to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA) to confront the Eagles in a 2A District 8 battle on Friday, April 11. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 12-9.
