In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Chesaning Indians softball team scored a nice 18-0 win over the Hill-McCloy Rams.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Birch Run (Birch Run, MI). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Birch Run was routed by Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI), 10-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rams battle the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) in a Mid-Michigan match, on Monday, April 14. Hill-McCloy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Owosso (Owosso, MI).
