Maryland High School Softball - North Point drops to Chopticon

April 9, 2025: Waldorf, MD 20603

The North Point Eagles softball squad (Waldorf, MD), was routed 15-4 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD)

With the triumph, Chopticon improves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Braves travel to McDonough (Pomfret, MD) to face the Rams in a Southern Maryland contest on Friday, April 11. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 2-6.

The Eagles now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Calvert for a Southern Maryland contest on Friday, April 11. North Point will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-3.
