The Haynes Academy triumphed over the visiting Lakeshore softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the play the Ursuline Academy Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Haynes Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA).
The (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Pope John Paul II edged Holden (Holden, LA), 9-4, in a non-league challenge.
