The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA) and the visiting Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), witnessed Mechanicsburg's softball team edge Mifflin County by a margin of 7-2.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manheim Township for a non-league outing on Friday, April 11. Mechanicsburg will encounter a Blue Streaks team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Solanco (Quarryville, PA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Mifflin County moves to 1-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to State College (State College, PA) to encounter the Little Lions in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth outing on Sunday, April 13. The Little Lions come into the outing with a record of 2-2. State College lost 9-4 in their recent league outing against Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA)
