Kentucky High School Softball - Western Hills bounces Nicholas County

April 9, 2025: Frankfort, KY 40601

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) and the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), observed Western Hills's softball team notch a victory over Nicholas County by a final score of 10-0.

The Wolverines (4-12) will now prepare for their bout against Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY). The go into the District 41 bout with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Bluejackets battle the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 12. Nicholas County will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 9-1 league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY).
