The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA) and the visiting String Theory (Philadelphia, PA), observed Penn Wood's softball team notch a victory over String Theory by a final score of 20-5.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA). The Knights go into the Delaware Valley bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Academy Park was routed by Interboro (Prospect Park, PA), 15-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the battle the Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. String Theory will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Railsplitters go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 15-12 non-league loss to Northeast (Philadelphia, PA).
