The Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY) softball routed the visiting Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), 20-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Sabres now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a Section 2 Colonial outing on Thursday, April 10. Schalmont will encounter a Flying Horses team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Colonie Central (Albany, NY). The Flying Horses record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Schenectady moves to 0-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Lansingburgh (Troy, NY) to encounter the Knights in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 22. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 4-2.
