The Ardrey Kell Knights baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Bishop O'Connell Knights to 3 in the Knights non-league win on Thursday.
The Knights now own a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Mecklenburg for a Southwestern 7A/8A test on Tuesday, April 14. Ardrey Kell will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-10.
With the defeat, Bishop O'Connell drops to 12-3 on the year. The Knights host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to clash with the Eagles in a Washington Catholic Athletic Conference test on Saturday, April 11. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 11-4. Gonzaga won 11-1 in their recent league test against The Heights (Potomac, MD)
