The Genoa Area Comets baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Bryan Golden Bears to 4 in the Comets non-league win on Thursday.
The Comets now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clyde for a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. Genoa Area will play a Fliers team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, OH). The Fliers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Bryan drops to 2-2 on the year. The Golden bears host Eastside (Butler, IN) to play the Blazers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. The Blazers go into the test with a record of 1-4. Eastside lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Woodlan (Woodburn, IN)
