The Ridgemont Golden Gophers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Elgin Comets to 4 in the Golden Gophers league win on Friday.

The Golden Gophers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central test on Monday, April 20. Ridgemont will play a Polar Bears team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-9.
