Illinois High School Baseball - Streamwood holds off Fenton

The Streamwood Sabres baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Fenton Bison to 1 in the Sabres non-league win on Thursday.

The Sabres now hold a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbard North for a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. Streamwood will play a Panthers team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Fenton drops to 4-6 on the year. The Bison travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to play the Hawks in a Upstate Eight test on Friday, April 10. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 6-5. Bartlett won 3-2 in their recent league test against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)
