Idaho High School Baseball - Firth loses to Malad

April 9, 2026: Malad, ID 83252

Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Firth Cougars (Firth, ID), 12-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Malad moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Dragons travel to Wells (Wells, NV) to confront the Leopards in a non-league match on Friday, April 10. The Leopards come into the match with a record of 12-4. Wells won 13-0 in their recent non-league match against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV)

The Cougars now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Fremont for a 3A Nuclear match on Tuesday, April 14. Firth will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Wendell (Wendell, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 6-7.
