The Hernando Tigers baseball squad (Hernando, MS), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS)

With the triumph, Madison Central moves its record to 15-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Murrah (Jackson, MS) to confront the Mustangs in a 7A Region 2 contest on Friday, April 10. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 4-13. Murrah lost 25-0 in their recent league contest against Madison Central (Madison, MS)

The Tigers now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horn Lake for a 7A Region 1 contest on Friday, April 10. Hernando will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Hernando (Hernando, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 4-17.
