Virginia High School Softball - Manchester sneaks past Colonial Forge

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Manchester Lancers softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Colonial Forge Eagles.

The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Atlee was nipped by New Kent (New Kent, VA), 14-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 10. Colonial Forge will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Bruins come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 17-5 league win over Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA).
