The Charging Wildcats go into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 16-0 league win over Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR).

The Rebels (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds go into the 2A Region 3 challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Cross County held off Bay (Bay, AR), 20-2, in a league challenge.
