California High School Softball - Rancho Buena Vista bounces Steele Canyon

The Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns routed the host Steele Canyon Cougars softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Longhorns (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Pirates go into the Coastal (NCC) battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Oceanside nudged Point Loma (San Diego, CA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now sport a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Granite Hills for a Grossmont Hills battle on Wednesday, May 5. Steele Canyon will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-11.
