In Sunday's non-league game, the visiting Marlboro Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 14-11 victory over the St. John-Vianney Lancers.
The Mustangs (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves go into the Shore A - North outing with a 4-7 record.
Next, the Lancers confront the Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 2. St. John-Vianney will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Bucs go into the outing with a 5-11 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ).
