In Sunday's non-league battle, the host Bloom Blazing Trojan soccer squad scored a close 5-1 win over the Round Lake Panthers.
The Blazing Trojan (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds go into the SICA battle with a 7-3 record.
The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants go into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Highland Park nipped Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
