Loveland Classical Lions (Loveland, CO) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), 6-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Flatirons Academy Bison (Westminster, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 5. Loveland Classical will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Bison enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 7-1 league win over Bishop Machebeuf (Denver, CO).
The Eagles now possess a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Twin Peaks Charter Academy for a 2A Mile High West challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Gilpin County will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 0-0 non-league Campion Academy (Loveland, CO). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-9.
