The West Chicago Wildcats held off the host Lake Park Lancers soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Monday's non-league match.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Aurora East for a Upstate Eight match on Wednesday, May 3. West Chicago will encounter a Tomcats squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Tomcats record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Lake Park drops to 5-10 on the season. The Lancers travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a DuKane match on Wednesday, May 3.
