The Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) soccer bounced the host Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), 5-0 in Monday's league bout.
With the victory, Lincoln-Way East moves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Griffins travel to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL) to confront the Blazing Trojan in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 2. The Blazing Trojan enter the bout with a record of 8-8. Bloom lost 8-2 in their recent league bout against Thornwood (South Holland, IL)
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban Blue bout, on Tuesday, May 2. Sandburg will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 6-6 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL).
