The Clinton Gaels (Clinton, MA) softball routed the visiting St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA), 12-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Gaels (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, Oakmont Regional toppled Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

The Bernardians now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Maynard for a non-league bout on Friday, May 5. St. Bernard's Central Catholic will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to West Boylston (West Boylston, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
