In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans softball team scored a close 2-0 win over the Groton-Dunstable Crusaders.
Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Clinton Gaels (Clinton, MA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 3. Oakmont Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Gaels enter the outing with a 7-1 record after their 12-0 non-league win over St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA).
The Crusaders (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Red Raiders enter the Midland-Wachusett B outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Fitchburg by Maynard (Maynard, MA), 6-3, in a non-league outing.
