Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Spoto Spartans (Riverview, FL) and the visiting Southeast Seminoles (Bradenton, FL), witnessed Spoto's softball squad prevail over Southeast by a count of 17-2.
The Spartans now sport a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Parrish Community for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 2. Spoto will meet a Bulls squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Braden River (Bradenton, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Southeast moves to 1-17 on the season.
