The Senators (17-3) will now prepare for their battle against Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Panthers go into the Central State Eight battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Decatur Eisenhower was routed by Champaign Central (Champaign, IL), 16-1, in a non-league battle.

The Tornadoes now possess a 4-16 record. They play next when they host Effingham for a Apollo battle on Wednesday, May 3. Taylorville will meet a Flaming Hearts squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Breese, IL). The Flaming Hearts record now stands at 13-8.
