In Monday's non-league contest, the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD), by a margin of 16-0.
With the triumph, Walter Johnson moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Einstein (Kensington, MD) to play the Titans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 3. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 1-3.
In their next game, the Wolverines play the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) in a Montgomery County 3A/2A contest, on Wednesday, May 3. Watkins Mill will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
