California High School Softball - Yuba City falls to Wheatland

In Monday's non-league outing, the host Wheatland Pirates softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Yuba City Honkers.

Coming up next, the Pirates battle the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League outing, on Wednesday, May 3. Wheatland will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Bruins enter the outing with a 8-6 record after their 10-1 league win over Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA).

The Honkers (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Broncos enter the Capital Valley Conference outing with a 5-14 record.
