The Swampscott Big Blue baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Beverly Panthers to 4 in the Big Blue non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Big Blue (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA). The Tanners go into the Northeastern - South match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, Peabody Veterans Memorial edged Gloucester (Gloucester, MA), 1-0, in a league match.
The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains go into the Northeastern - North match with a 7-1 record.
