The Great Mills Hornets crushed the host North Point Eagles baseball team by a count of 16-4 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host La Plata for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Great Mills will face a Warriors team coming off a 9-1 league win over Northern (Owings, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 15-3.
Next, the Eagles face the St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Thursday, May 2. North Point will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The enter the bout with a 3-14 record after their 14-0 league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
