With the win, Hopewell upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 7. The Indians come into the test with a record of 12-3.

With the defeat, Quaker Valley falls to 6-11 on the season. The Quakers host Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to battle the Lancers in a WPIAL 3A 1 test on Monday, May 6. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 9-9. Neshannock lost 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)
