Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), 14-4 in a league test.

With the win, Wyoming East upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Warriors host Mingo Central (Matewan, WV) to battle the Miners in a non-league test on Thursday, May 2. The Miners come into the test with a record of 6-14. Mingo Central lost 13-3 in their recent league test against Mount View (Welch, WV)

With the defeat, Liberty falls to 8-12 on the season. The Raiders travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to battle the Grizzlies in a Coalfield AA test on Tuesday, May 7. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 19-4. Nicholas County won 11-5 in their recent non-league test against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
