The Springfield Southeast Spartans baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights to 3 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bullets go into the non-league match with a 12-11 record. In their last match, Williamsville was overwhelmed by PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL), 6-2, in a league match.
The Knights (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Mater Dei (Breese, IL). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 7-14 record. In their last match, Mater Dei ran past Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL), 9-2, in a non-league match.
