Ohio High School Volleyball - Carroll can't hold off Northmont

In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Northmont Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Carroll Patriots.

The Thunderbolts now have a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centerville for a Greater Western Ohio test on Thursday, May 2. Northmont will confront a Elks team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH). The Elks record now stands at 6-14.

The Patriots (3-18) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH). The Fighting Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Archbishop Moeller held off Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH), 3-2, in a non-league test.
