The Howell Rebels volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Holmdel Hornets to 1 in the Rebels non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Rebels now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Regional for a non-league game on Friday, May 3. Howell will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-11.
The Hornets (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Cougars enter the Shore - A North game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Colts Neck nipped Middletown South (Middletown, NJ), 2-0, in a league game.
