In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Anoka Tornadoes lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-7 victory over the Coon Rapids Cardinals.
The Tornadoes now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blaine for a non-league test on Monday, May 6. Anoka will face a Bengals squad coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Champlin Park (Champlin, MN). The Bengals record now stands at 1-4.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN) in a Section 4 test, on Monday, May 6. Coon Rapids will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 0-6 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN).
