The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks the host Chaparral Wolverines lacrosse team by a final score of 12-8 in Wednesday's league match.

With the win, Cheyenne Mountain betters its record to 8-6 on the season. The Red-Tailed Hawks host Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO) to play the Kadets in a 5A South match on Saturday, May 4. The Kadets go into the match with a record of 7-6. Air Academy won 6-1 in their recent league match against Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO)

With the defeat, Chaparral drops to 3-10 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Grandview (Aurora, CO) to play the Wolves in a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. The Wolves go into the match with a record of 3-10. Grandview lost 18-6 in their recent league match against Poudre School District (Fort Collins, CO)
