Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), 17-2 in a league battle.
The Thunderbolts now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naperville North for a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. Andrew will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 14-10 league win over Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 6-5.
In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Wednesday, May 8. Normal Community will attempt to advance on its 0-10 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 1-10 record after their 14-9 non-league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL).
