In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Maranacook Black Bears lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Boothbay Seahawks.
The Black Bears now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Yarmouth Academy for a Class C test on Saturday, May 4. Maranacook will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
In their next game, the Seahawks face the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 3. Boothbay will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 10-9 non-league win over North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
