Denver East Angels (Denver, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO), 6-5 in a non-league battle.

The Angels now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colorado Academy for a 5A League #4 battle on Thursday, May 2. Denver East will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-11 league loss to Denver South (Denver, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-4.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Arapahoe Warriors (Centennial, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 3. Mountain Vista will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 14-0 record after their 17-3 non-league win over Evergreen (Evergreen, CO).
