The Lockport Porters lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Oak Forest Bengals to 5 in the Porters league win on Wednesday.
The Porters (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics go into the non-league game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Providence Catholic was overwhelmed by Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL), 15-11, in a league game.
The Bengals (8-8) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors go into the South Suburban game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Lincoln-Way West was overwhelmed by Washington (Washington, IL), 6-3, in a league game.
