Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Thomas Jefferson Spartans (Denver, CO), 14-6 in a league battle.

The Mustangs now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Littleton for a 4A Southern battle on Saturday, May 4. Ponderosa will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Heritage (Littleton, CO). The Lions record now stands at 0-13.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 3. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 10-8 league win over Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO).
